Mid-Century Modern Open House Listings Mar 31: Sherman Oaks, Encino and Tarzana Hills

As families observe Easter Sunday, there are only 3 open house listings for mid-century modern homes in the hills of Sherman Oaks, Encino and Tarzana for tomorrow.  When we showcase homes in these areas, you will find many homes designed by my favorite mid-century modern architect, Edward H. Fickett, FAIA.  This week there are two homes that are being noted.  The first home, built in 1963, features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with incredible mid-century modern details throughout.  Located at 4435 Petit Avenue, Encino, it is being offered for $2,095,000.  

The second Fickett worth taking a look at is the 1955 design in Sherman Oaks which needs major repair.  The 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home has a fantastic floor plan, but has seen much better days as the interior needs a complete overhaul.  It is modestly priced at $675,000 for the spacious home located at 3736 Woodcliff Road, Sherman Oaks.
