The real estate industry is picking up. Agents and colleagues have been noticing the activity and are happy about it. The industry has seen the market pick up since the end of 2011 when we saw pricing hit it's bottom. Now, the market is changing and sellers are seeing an advantage due to prices climbing which is caused by low inventory. Multiple offers and fast transactions are what is being offered at this time. It is important to work with an agent who has facility to negotiate a deal for you, knowing you will be going up against others through multiple offers, if the listing has merit. It is not unlikely to see a good listing move into an escrow within 14 days after counter-offering multiple offers.
