Color, Dot, Squiggle • Everyday objects can be turned into a work of art by adding color and flair. Take a look at the Pop Goes the Humor exhibition and add a little pizzazz to your favorite image.
ARTISTS IN ACTION
Houston Atrium (Main Level) • 1 p.m.
Pop artists popularized screen printing as a means of creating large editions of prints on paper, vastly increasing the accessibility of their images and ideas. Coachella Valley artist Aaron Hansen demonstrates screen printing techniques and how this fine art process is used today.

Lecture Hall (Upper Level) • 2 p.m.
Getting to Know the World’s Greatest Artists: Andy Warhol, Mike Venezia, U.S.A., 2007Explore the life and art of Andy Warhol in this family-friendly biography that also presents an introduction to Pop Art. 24 minutes. The Dot, Gary Goldberger, U.S.A., 2004 • This delightful short encourages children to believe in themselves and their art. 7 minutes.
