1939 Soriano Mid-Century Modern Gogol House on Market

The last we saw this home on market was back in 2003.  Located in Los Feliz area by Griffith Park,  architect, Raphael S. Soriano designed the GOGOL HOUSE in 1939.  As a protege of Richard Neutra, Soriano became a master of the Mid-Century Modern architecture movement in Southern California on his own merit as Soriano was made a Fellow by the American Institute of Architects ( FAIA ) in 1961.
Located at 2190 Talmadge Street, Los Angeles 90027 and built in 1939, this 3 bedroom and 3 bath modern is listed at $1.195M.
Inside the home, you are greeted by walls of sunlight  and comfort in 2,779sf of interior space.

The curvilinear interior wall is a nice offset to the exterior and a very much a characteristic of the International Modern movement.   Soriano would later develop his Mid-Century Modern philosophy by incorporating more steel into his design.

With an updated kitchen and plenty of work space, all you need is quick delivery from Yummy.com.
This handsome room brings the acoustics down with the built-in bookcases.  Time to get cozy!
If I could I would.  This is a dream office: light, bright, Moderne!
The outdoor living space with miles of views and a comfortable-sized deck overlooking the Los Feliz Hills.

In 2003, the home sold for $825K.  Come and get it.  The Gogol House is ripe for the picking!
